Mrs. Kreutzer's Korner

Algebra 1 scholars are currently learning about exponential growth and decay. Scholars will soon embark on a project to apply their knowledge to current events using COVID-19 infection rates.

Biology scholars are wrapping up discussions on genetics and heredity and will be launching into evolution next week. Scholars will learn about the mechanisms and evidence for evolution, then delve deeper into human evolution while attempting to answer the question, "is there any scientific basis for race?".

Forensic Science scholars are currently learning about time of death determinations using entomology and decomposition as markers. Scholars will be setting up simulated "body farms" at home to track insect activity and learn how to use that data to determine time of death.
