Sixth Grade Advisory with Ms. Ross

Ms. Ross’ 6th grade advisory took on a wildly successful fort building challenge recently. After two weeks, one scholar still has hers up and Ms. Ross nearly reached her goal of having a fort night for a fortnight. Every week, they also take time to discuss a “question of the week” together and post responses of their friends and family to the same question using Flipgrid.

Last week’s question was, “Which 3-5 characters from the fictionalized literary world would you choose as your friends?” Scholars recently celebrated Eli’s birthday through collaborative online “birthday wall”, festive virtual backgrounds, a scholar-created art piece, and a shared viewing of the first episode of Lost in Space through the Netflix Party extension.
