Incoming 4th-6th graders

155 US dollars

Session Details

Step into the world of ancient mathematics and discover the brilliant minds that helped shape how we understand numbers, shapes, and the physical world! In this course, students will explore the ideas of various mathematicians, including Pythagoras, Euclid, and Archimedes. We will showcase a number of mathematicians, including how Pythagoras and his famous theorem help us measure right triangles, learn how Euclid built the foundation of geometry, and see how Archimedes made discoveries about floating objects, levers, and even war machines! Through hands-on activities, puzzles, and real-world applications, students will develop problem-solving skills and an appreciation for the power of math in everyday life. By the end of this course, scholars will not only understand key mathematical concepts but also appreciate the genius of these ancient thinkers—and maybe even feel inspired to become mathematicians themselves!
