E.A. Young Academy’s Upper School program is designed to provide scholars with a rigorous, individualized academic pathway that balances strong foundational study with opportunities for advanced coursework, specialization, and authentic application.

 

The 2026–27 Upper School Course Catalog provides a comprehensive guide to EAYA’s academic program, including graduation requirements, course sequences and descriptions, GPA and weighting practices, advanced course designations, and Talent Development pathways.

​

Scholars may pursue coursework at the Honors, Advanced Placement, Distinguished, Dual Enrollment, and Dual Credit levels, while Talent Development provides opportunities to extend learning through research, leadership, creative production, mentorship, and other areas of individual specialization.

​

The catalog also documents legacy coursework that may appear on current scholars’ transcripts, providing colleges and universities with a complete context for interpreting an EAYA academic record.
