Jeremiah McGhee is a proud EA Young Academy alumnus. He currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty member of E.A. Young Academy's Upper School. Mr. McGhee teaches the Pursuit/Adulting course as part of the Academy's life skills curriculum, in addition to assisting with the AP Literature and Composition course. Previously, he has taught AP Seminar, a research and argumentative writing-focused class, and Social Impact Seminar, a discussion-based class covering a wide array of social issues. Jeremiah aims to assist scholars in the exploration of college and career opportunities by guiding them as they identify their personal values and priorities, by equipping them with a variety of practical skills, and by challenging them through experiential learning exercises.

Jeremiah's professional background consists of experience in operations management, project leadership, and education. He graduated from the University of North Texas in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Studies, with areas of study in History, Political Science, and Music Business/Entrepreneurship. He is currently pursuing an MBA in Business Management through UNT's MBA Cohort program and is set to graduate in May 2024. Outside of the classroom, Jeremiah can be found speedrunning platform games, playing music with friends and family, or enjoying a cup of tea on the porch with his wife.
