Join our exciting Animal Menagerie camp designed for young explorers to dive into the fascinating world of amazing creatures! In this engaging program designed for grades K-2, students will meet and interact with a variety of fascinating animals including Hermit Crabs, Ant farms, prehistoric Triops, and beautiful butterflies. Young naturalists will learn about animal habitats, life cycles, and behaviors through hands-on activities and observation. Students will explore their creativity by designing animal homes, tracking growth and development, and discovering the important roles these creatures play in our world. You'll get to witness the magic of metamorphosis as caterpillars transform into butterflies, observe the industrious teamwork of ants building tunnels, and even care for your own hermit crab friends! This course will empower young scholars with a deeper understanding and appreciation of the animal kingdom, fostering respect for living things and their environments. Please Note: This is a hands-on animal exploration class for K-3 students with live animal interaction, not a virtual or textbook-based science class
